Business Consulting Lead

Customer facing position which documents functional requirements, analyzes business process, & develops business cases to support IT solutions. Provides client support during system development & implementation, development & maintenance of service level agreements.
Essential Functions:
Independently initiates, identifies & coordinates the analysis of complex client systems needs in project areas such as: new business operating models, innovative approaches to IT solutions support, market research of emerging or available product functionality & operational readiness assessment.
Identifies opportunities for increasing business efficiency through improved manual & automated process systems.
Leads cross-functional &/or cross-divisional IT task forces to identify & document functional requirements, workflow, information sources & distribution paths, & system specifications.
May establish IT cross-functional task forces.
Coordinates the development of comprehensive business cases w/cost, service, benefit & ROI dimensions of proposed IT projects that are used at management & executive levels for funding & scope decisions.
Presents completed business cases to leadership for approvals.
Develops the analysis & definition of efficient, cost effective IT solutions that support client business processes & functional requirements for complex IT projects or sub tasks on large IT projects.
Evaluates existing applications that could address client requirements & develops recommendations where appropriate.
Evaluates alternative operational efficiencies.
Plans, leads, coordinates, & conducts the analysis of client business processes & functional requirements & the preparation of appropriate documentation to communicate & validate the information.
Develops cross-initiative integration plans.
Identifies other IT initiatives that exist & ensures that efforts are not duplicated.
Supports a variety of applications.
Consults on the integration of application systems into the work environment, regarding their operational & training implications.
Provides leadership & direction to clients in consulting, planning, marketing & training of multiple, complex automated systems.
Maintains current knowledge of application systems, interfaces, reporting processes, & data capture.
Coordinates ongoing application support w/ the various IT technical areas to ensure continued application usage & success.
Maintains current knowledge on health care industry, regulations, & KP & KP-IT business strategies.
Develops test plans.
Provides product expertise to client groups, delivers presentations, demonstrations & training for application systems.
Coordinates installation & first-use of new applications.
May provide specialized support to a specific business area.
Serves as a single point of contact for the resolution of client issues.
May maintain strategic user tables.
Chooses, recommends, creates &/or adopts techniques, standards & methodologies to apply.
Makes recommendations for improvements to KP standards/methodologies.
Advises clients on the consequences of actions.
Communicates risks & ensures understanding of these risks.
Jointly develops risk assessment of plan w/client.
Provides on-going communication.
Develops project plans for specific client's IT projects or project sub-tasks.
Acts as project lead in the coordination of solution development & the implementation of the final IT product/service.
Acts as a liaison between business clients & technical staff &/or w/development staff throughout the development life cycle.
May develop project plans.

Experience
Minimum eight (8) years of related experience.
Education
Bachelor's degree in related field, OR four (4) years of experience in a directly related field.
High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED) required.
License, Certification, Registration

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
