The Stafford is a Boutique Retirement Community with an open to public Restaurant, Pub and Coffee house. We also have a Catering business that serves Lake Oswego, Clackamas County and the surrounding areas. We are looking for several new staff members to join our team. Starting wages depend on experience, but note that we do not accept tips of any kind. Please fill out an application and upload a resume.
The primary responsibility of this position is to assist in serving meals on a timely basis to Residents and Patrons.
Responsibilities:
Ensure that Residents and Patrons receive excellent customer service.
Set up meal trays, food carts and the dining room.
Ensure that food, menus and supplies for the next meal are readily available.
Perform daily cleaning duties, such as restocking, maintaining a clean work environment, inventory, etc.
Retrieve dishes, wash and clean utensils, and return them to their proper storage areas.
Keep work areas clean, dry and free of hazardous materials.
Assist Cooks in preparing and serving meals.
Qualifications and Skill sets:
Experience in a hospital, nursing care facility, other related medical facility or food service industry preferred.
Must have a valid Food Handler's Card and OLCC Service Permit.
Must be 18 years or older.
Create and uphold an atmosphere of warmth, patience, enthusiasm, and a calm and cheerful environment.
