Job DetailsWe are seeking a talented Associate Attorney specializing in Land Use/Zoning to join our growing legal teamThis position is an exciting opportunity for an Attorney who has a deep understanding of land use, land acquisition, zoning, entitlements, variances, and permittingThe successful candidate will have the chance to work on a wide range of complex land use and zoning matters and will be instrumental in assisting clients with navigating the challenges of land development and utilization.
Responsibilities:
1Provide comprehensive legal counsel on all land use and zoning matters, including but not limited to land acquisition, entitlements, variances, and permitting.2Represent clients before zoning boards, planning commissions, and city councils.3Draft, review, and negotiate complex land use agreements and contracts.4Conduct extensive legal research and prepare memoranda on various land use and zoning issues.5Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal land use and zoning regulations.6Develop strategies and solutions to resolve complex land use and zoning disputes.7Advise clients on the potential impacts of new or proposed land use laws and regulations.8Maintain up-to-date knowledge of laws and regulations related to land use and zoning.Your
Qualifications:
1A Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.2Admission to the OR state bar and in good standing.3A minimum of 1
years of experience in land use and zoning law, with a strong background in land acquisition, entitlements, variances, and permitting.4Demonstrated ability to handle complex land use and zoning matters with minimal supervision.5Excellent legal research, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.6Strong knowledge of local, state, and federal land use and zoning laws and regulations.7Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.8Proven track record of providing superior client service.9Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.This position offers a unique opportunity to play a key role in our firm's land use and zoning practice, providing high-quality legal services to our clientsYou will be part of a team that values collaboration, professional growth, and client satisfaction.Interested in hearing more?
