Point Monitor is a forward thinking and growing company that is on the move! We are currently seeking a highly-organized and professional individual with experience in an office environment to coordinate low-voltage electrical projects in our Lake Oswego headquarters.
This position can be fast paced, fun and rewarding as you work with an experienced project manager / department head from beginning to end on small and large projects.
Summary of duties:
take initiative on problem solving and sourcing items for installers as necessary, assist in estimating and creating bids for small projects under the supervision of an experienced professional, coordinate deliveries and track shipments, track billings, initiate internal and external communications both verbal and written, research equipment types to be purchased from vendors, and support project manager and / or department head on various tasks.
The responsibilities in this position will vary as you work with customers, track packages and schedule / process change orders and billings for the work to be done.
Much time is spent coordinating permits, purchasing, tracking shipments and meeting the needs of the field installers.
You will be trained.

Minimum $60k total compensation & more depending on experience.

EDUCATION:
High school diploma or equivalent; college a plus.
SKILLS:
Must be able to manage multiple projects and priorities at a time, act quickly when a need arises, make decisions, provide quality customer service with strong written & verbal communications, follow specific instructions precisely when necessary, extremely accurate data entry and strong attention to detail, consistent follow-through on delegated tasks, commitment to always maintain a professional appearance and demeanor, and execution of duties with accuracy and timeliness.
The ability to lift 20-pound items on a regular basis is required.

Experience:
Minimum two years' experience working in a professional office environment.
We prefer experience in a construction or service company environment, purchasing, estimating, and/or reading/understanding construction plans.
Experience working in the fire alarm and security industry a big plus.
COMPUTER SKILLS:
Must be experienced with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Bluebeam and Microsoft Access experience a plus but are not required.
