SummaryThe Principal, IT Financial Operations works closely with the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and other leadership team members to develop and implement IT frameworks and procedures.
Initial focus is on enhancing IT operational efficiency, then evolve the focus to encompass global IT teams and ultimately the entire business.
This position has oversight over IT vendor management processes, finance, compliance, business operations, and contracts.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform the following essential duties satisfactorily.
Other duties may be assigned to address business needs and changing business practices.
Collaborates with the CIO and other leaders to develop and execute IT processes and frameworks.
Focuses on improving IT operational efficiency.
Responsible for development and oversight of the IT processes including IT Finance, IT Accounting, IT Contracts, IT Vendor management, and IT Compliance.
Oversees vendor management processes, ensuring compliance with IT policies and procedures.
Owns the IT financial plan including reconciliation and reporting.
Shares responsibility of the IT vision and strategy.
Ensures IT compliance, including data privacy regulations, security standards, and regulatory requirements.
Manages business operations and ensures alignment with IT policies and procedures.
Oversees IT contracts, including negotiating terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
QualificationsThe following generally describes requirements to successfully perform the assigned duties.
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or business administration.

years management experience leading an IT department or other business unit, including proficiency in leadership and stakeholder relationship management (external and internal), the complex analysis of business structure and processes and the design of effective and efficient solutions to address complex business issues and implementing organizational change within a department/business unit.
Experience drafting, understanding, and executing IT contracts and vendor management.
Ability to drive results through leadership and team performance while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
Knowledge of IT frameworks such as ITIL, COBIT, and ISO.
Proficient in applicable data privacy practices and laws, and other industry-relevant regulations.
Knowledgeable and proficient in business theory, business processes, strategic planning and execution, management, budgeting, and business office operations.
Experience researching, evaluating, negotiating, and managing third-party service providers.
Experience with IT planning, organization, and development.
Ability to apply IT in solving business problems.
Understanding of human resource management principles, practices, and procedures.
Ability to identify, prioritize, plan, start, and complete projects and work tasks with accuracy.
Ability to collaborate and communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing, at all levels of the organization.
Possess strong negotiation skills.
Ability to present information professionally verbally and in writing, to a broad range of audiences, including executive management.
Ability to address and support the customer and end user experience.
