7 Full-time 1 hour ago Full Job Description Job Details What you will do Johnson Controls Fire Protection LP is seeking an experienced Fire Sprinkler Service Supervisor who is a self-motivated and driven individual with superior relationship building skills.
How you will do it Safety Compliance:
Ensure that all employees comply with corporate safety programs.
Responsible to ensure that employee safety training is thorough, complete and up-to-date.
Identify safety issues and hazards and notify Regional Safety Manager and local market Safety Champion of those conditions that require corrective action to support our Zero Harm culture.
Revenue responsibility- Including implementing plans, programs and processes designed to meet and exceed corporate goals and objectives as well as maximizing market potential of the service business including new bookings (sales), revenue and profitability.
Customer Satisfaction:
Responsible for maintaining effective customer communications along with building solid customer relationships from initial contact through order acquisition, delivery and service.
Ensure contractual obligations are fulfilled while quickly resolving customer complaints concerning service and collection issues thereby minimizing customer concerns and enhancing customer relations.
Productivity Improvement:
Responsible for setting fair and manageable territories for technicians.
Ensure that fair and effective performance measurements are assigned and that employees are motivated to achieve and/or exceed their assigned goals and objectives utilizing management tools and practices.
Also responsible to be proficient at, perform as required and instruct/train all new technicians in all specific job procedures including our service dispatch and inspection apps.
Qualifications - External What we look for Required:
At least 5 years of experience in Fire Sprinkler Inspection, Testing, Maintenance and Repair, with a demonstrated knowledge of NFPA 25.
Demonstrate supervisory/leadership abilities to include training, team building, presentation and negotiation skills, district administration and effective interaction with customers.
Must have a valid driver's license and a driving record that meets company requirements.
Developing Direct Reports & Others Ability to work a full time schedule Preferred NICET Level III Certification in Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems Demonstrated experience in the supervision of a team of Sprinkler Service Technicians and Inspectors.
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
